In Québec, Sayona has assembled a northern lithium hub centred on the Moblan Lithium Project and a southern lithium hub (Abitibi hub) centred on the North American Lithium operation, including the nearby Authier Lithium Project.
The Company has developed the leading lithium resource base in North America, successfully restarting production at NAL in March 2023 and making its first shipment to the international lithium market in August 2023.
Sayona is also moving into downstream processing, examining the potential for lithium carbonate or lithium hydroxide production in Québec.
Québec’s clean and green hydropower, its world-class infrastructure, skilled labour and proximity to North American battery markets make it a leader in ESG-friendly lithium production, with the province focused on developing its own battery sector from mining to manufacturing.
Sayona is committed to supporting the local economy and local employability. The vast majority of the Company’s Québec workforce comes from the local community, including First Nations communities.

In Western Australia, the Company holds a large tenement portfolio in the Pilbara region prospective for gold and lithium. Sayona is exploring for Hemi‐style gold targets in the world‐class Pilbara region, while its lithium projects are subject to a joint venture agreement with Morella Corporation (ASX:1MC).
